I am a Lead Piping/Static Engineer working for Petroleum Development Oman, holds a BSc in Mechatronics Engineering with First Class Honours from GLASGOW CALEDONIAN UNIVERSITY. With over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, I have occupied several key leadership roles in Petroleum Development Oman encompassing: 1) Asset maintenance & integrity as rotating Equipments maintenance and machinery diagnosis, 2) Engineering as Piping engineer in FEED office, Mechanical construction supervisor in Central Project Delivery and then Mechanical static Lead. 3) Static & piping Mechanical Corporate Function as Lead Piping/Static Engineer. I am holding level 2 Technical authority for piping and static, also certified as internal lead auditor and recognize as Lean Practitioner. I’m internal HSE assessor and Asset Integrity process safety focal point for Static & piping Mechanical Corporate Function. I have led and contributed to numerous significant projects across PDO, including Engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning support, Lean Continuous Improvement and Process Safety.
