EXPERIENCE
Member of the advisory Committee of the Supreme Council for the Environment specializing in RenewableEnergy since March 2019. Joined KISR in November 2000, working on aerodynamics; wind tunnel andcoastal engineering applications, then diverted into renewable energy, becoming the Project Manager ofthe First Renewable Energy, Government Initiative, Wind Power Station in Kuwait. Before joining KISR,Waleed worked with Schlumberger-Dowell (Oil well construction services) from November 1997 toAugust 2000. During this time, Waleed was selected by Schlumberger Research and Product Center inClamart, France as the most experienced field engineer in the Gulf region able to pump and verifySchlumberger’s latest technology in oil well construction and monitoring equipment combining both
Computational Fluid Dynamics software and field (Oil Rig) tools and equipment.
