Dr. Khalid Sheltami has 32 years of experience in Technology Development, Mechanical Design,
Fitness for Service, Inspection, Non-Destructive Testing, Finite Elements Analysis and Computational
Fluid Dynamics. He has worked in oil and gas, fiber optics, semiconductors and petrochemical
industries. He also worked as a university professor. Dr. Sheltami has contributed in international
codes and standards, published technical papers and owns several patents.
Dr. Sheltami is currently Chief Engineer in the structural integrity department in SABIC
Manufacturing / Asset Technology Center.
