Dr. Mohammed B. Ansari

Dr. Ansari is a Lead Scientist at SABIC, bringing over 15 years of extensive experience in research and development activities focused on Oxygenates Technologies, Clean & Sustainable Fuels, Hydrogen, and Circular Carbon Economy (CCE). He earned his doctoral degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering on CCUS from the Laboratory of Nano- Green Catalysis at Inha University, South Korea, under the esteemed supervision of Professor Sang-Eon Park. Throughout his career, Dr. Ansari has demonstrated remarkable scientific achievements, including the publication of over 50 articles in prestigious journals, securing more than 50 international granted patents, and facilitating intercompany technology transfers in the field of clean fuels. His visionary leadership is centered on establishing the scientific and technological groundwork to bridge the gap between clean fuel research and industrial application, thereby contributing to the development of sustainable future technologies. In addition to his scientific endeavors, Dr. Ansari actively engages with policymakers, regulators, and stakeholders in the GCC and Asia-Pacific regions to provide valuable insights on addressing decarbonization and clean fuel challenges, including hydrogen initiatives. He maintains collaborative partnerships with national policymaking bodies, industries, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and academia, advocating for a scientific approach to empower decarbonization and clean fuel initiatives, particularly in the realm of hydrogen technology.
