Dr. Raida S. K. Al-Alawi is a senior engineering leader with over three decades of impact spanning academia, industry, and professional organizations. She earned a Ph.D. in Computational Intelligence from Brunel University, UK, and has held key leadership roles such as Dean, Department Chair, and Director of Technology Development at BFG International. Currently, Dr. Al-Alawi serves as President of the Bahrain Society of Engineers and Vice President of the Federation of Arab Engineers. She is an ABET commissioner, EAC Program Evaluator, IEEE Senior Member, and Fellow of the IET. Her strategic leadership continues to advance engineering education, accreditation, and regional collaboration.
