Majed Wafaallah (Chemical Engineer with MBA) is a seasoned sustainability leader with diverse experience in the energy, utilities, petrochemical, and academia sectors. Currently, he is the Director of Sustainability at Acwa, he is also the Chairman of the Board at the United Nations Global Compact KSA. At Acwa, Majed is responsible for leading the company’s sustainability strategy, integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices into the company. Under his leadership, Acwa has made significant strides in achieving its sustainability goals, improving the company’s ESG rating, elevating sustainability initiatives, and strengthening the alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
