He has 20 years of experience with Saudi Aramco in projects inspection, vendor inspection, facility operations, corrosion control, and project design, where he was heading managerial positions such as Quality Manager for Aramco Asia, China Office and Inspection Tehcnology Head at Engineering Service. He has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from KFUPM and an MSc in Material Science & Engineering from the University of South Florida. Qasem holds ten professional certifications, including API 570, API 510, API 653, API 936, API 577, CSWIP 3.1, NACE Coatings, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and TapRooT. He was awarded the 2023 Quality Manager Excellence Award from the Saudi Quality Council for his contributions and achievements, including creating six patents, publishing 20 papers, deploying new inspection technology, creating quality measure performance indices, and contributing to quality standards. Besides, He was honored with the 2025 Hromi Medal award from American Society for Quality (ASQ).
