Kabiru Haruna is a researcher and educator specializing in corrosion science, electrochemistry, materials chemistry, nanotechnology, and sustainable materials development. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) and currently serves as a postdoctoral research fellow at its Interdisciplinary Research Center for Advanced Materials. His research integrates functional materials synthesis, electrochemical analysis, advanced surface characterization, and computational modeling, with emphasis on sustainable corrosion mitigation and circular-economy approaches. He has over a decade of teaching and research experience, has mentored students across multiple academic levels, and has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications.
