His specialization widely covers ASME B31 Piping & Pipeline Design, Construction, Operation, Inspection, Pigging, Maintenance, Repair & Integrity Assessment, Process Equipment, Reliability Management, Plant Turnaround and Reliability-Availability-Maintainability, Engineering Drawings, Codes & Standards, P&ID Reading, Interpretation & Developing. His experience covers inspection, Construction and Maintenance of Storage Tank, Hydraulic Control Valves, Static Equipment including Safety Relief Valves, Boilers, Fired Heaters, Reformers, Pressure Vessels, Tanks, Heat Exchangers, and Pipelines,. Further, he has experience in corrosion engineering, Repair of conventional and special grades of different alloys, Welding, NDT. He is well-versed in various International Standards including ASME , API, and NACE. During his career life, Mr. Omar Al-Lafi has gained his practical and field experience through his positions and dedication as the Lead Engineer, Sr. inspection engineer, welding engineer, and NDT engineer for different international companies like MAAADEN, SAUDI ARAMCO, SABIC, Jordan Bromine. Mr. Omar Al-Lafi has a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering. Further, he is a Certified in CWI-AWS, API 570, API 510, API 577, API 571 and has delivered several trainings, courses, seminars, and workshops in the middle east region.
