Dr. Slim Soua is a Structural Integrity and Inspection Technology Specialist with over 18 years of international experience in non-destructive testing (NDT), asset integrity management, and engineering innovation across the oil and gas sector. He currently serves within Saudi Aramco’s Inspection Technology Unit, leading the assessment, qualification, and deployment of advanced inspection and monitoring technologies. Throughout his career with Saudi Aramco, TWI, and Innerspec Technologies, he has delivered major technology development programs, industry collaborations, and integrity solutions for critical energy infrastructure. His expertise spans guided wave ultrasonics, acoustic emission, EMAT, digital inspection technologies, and structural health monitoring. Dr Soua is continuously contributing to advancing engineering practice through innovation, collaboration, and the practical application of emerging technologies to improve safety, reliability, and operational performance.
