I have over 20 years of experience in structural integrity, specializing in Fitness-for- Service (FFS) and Engineering Critical Assessment (ECA). Following my PhD in materials fatigue, I spent nearly two decades as a technical consultant in the UK with organizations including TWI and QinetiQ. My experience covers integrity, safety, risk, and FFS assessments of critical structures across the oil & gas, marine, renewables, transportation, construction, and submarine sectors. I have supported major oil & gas operators across the UK, Europe, and the US in addressing complex integrity challenges, including pipeline safety in aggressive service environments. I have also served as an Expert Witness in disputes involving structural integrity and safety. I am currently working as an FFS and Asset Integrity Specialist within Saudi, applying this experience to real-world integrity challenges across oil and gas assets.
